08-19-08 The Michigan Vs Utah game is to be played at the Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan on August 30, 2008. Utah is looking to senior Brian Johnson to lead them in the 2008 football season. He will be returning for his third season as starting quarterback after sitting out the 2006 season with a knee injury. Johnson was offensive Most Valuable Player in the 2007 Poinsettia Bowl, in which Utah defeated Navy 35-32, and second team all conference in 2005. Head coach Kyle Whittingham, will be returning for his fourth year as head coach for Utah. He has accomplished three straight winning seasons and 3-0 bowl game records. Utah has won seven straight bowl games since 1999 in which Whittingham was either an assistant coach or head coach. Head coach for the Wolverines, Rich Rodriguez, will begin his first season at Michigan after coaching at West Virginia University for seven years. Rodriguez is already faced with a difficult decision; who will be starting quarterback for the 2008 football season? As of now, the battle for the starting position has come between sophomore Steven Threet and junior Nick Sheridan. Time is running out for the wolverines but Rodriguez said everything will be ok and turn out just fine.
